| Bio: | I am a New York State Non-Sexual Licensed Massage Therapist, a professional freelance musician (play the piccolo, flute, alto flute, recorders, pennywhistles, period and ethnic flutes). I also am a private flute and piccolo teacher and was a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician- Basic. I have lived in the US and the UK, have done musical tours in the US, Italy, and the UK, and would love to continue to travel and perform all over the world.
I am legally blind and have trouble seeing in the daytime, so I have a lovely Guide Dog now who makes sure I do not fall into a hole somewhere. I see much better at night, so I jokingly tell people I should have been born a vampire. For me to explain my vision to sighted people it is like looking through the wrong magnification lens for me. So, if you can imagine looking through the wrong end of a pair of binoculars (without the tunnel vision -- of which I do not have), that is how I see. So, the world is in "small print" to me. With the right tools, I can read books and other printed materials, including my computer screen.
I am happily married to ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) god21hotty now and love every moment we have together. We had a great day together with our family and friends. It ended too soon.
A good Warning about me is that I tend to be bitingly honest, but, I do have a sense of humor (which most people find rather odd), and I can get along with just about anyone.
I love reading books and watching movies. My favorites include Star Wars, and Harry Potter and I love (when I am around) to watch American Dad, Animaniacs, Family Guy, Futurama, Pinky and the Brain, Rescue Me, Third Watch, The Simpson's, Stargate SG-1, and Stargate Atlantis. I also love to draw, doing things outdoors (like cycling, hiking, nature walks, sailing, etc.), and going to amusement parks (roller coasters are fun!). I am also a solitary, eclectic Wiccan/Pagan.
I have made this journal a *friends only* journal. I do have, however, a few entries here that are not so that you might leave me a comment letting me know that you wanted to friend me.
